posted 04/11/2013 We are still a few months away but we are busy preparing for another fun and exciting season of Dunkirk Warriors football! By now you may have heard that the Calvert County Youth Football League (CCYFL) expanded this year to include the Leonardtown Wildcats, Pax River Raiders, and Mechanicsville Braves. We are excited and looking forward to the variety and new competition that these clubs will bring to the league.
Also new this year, all football players will be required to have a Maryland issued ID card in order to play. The Maryland issued ID cards will replace the club ID cards that we've used in past years. The Maryland ID cards may be obtained from the DMV or any DMV satellite office that issues driver's licenses. In order to get the ID card, you'll need to bring your child's birth certificate and social security card, along with your driver's license. The cost of the ID card is $15.00 and is good for 5 years. ID Cards are not required at the time of registration, but will be required at the league official weigh-ins.
Football registration will be opening soon and we'll be on the field before you know it! We are always looking for volunteers to help give our kids the best experiences on and off the field. If you are interested in assisting with the Dunkirk Warriors football program please let me know.
